SplashWeb was created to address a growing trend that was recognized as a problem by our corporate officers.

The problem: Too many shareware sites with too small product descriptions, inaccurate screenshots, and difficult navigation.

Our vision is to reverse the growing trend by offering our customers full product descriptions, more screenshots, and an easier-to-navigate layout and design.

You won't see SplashWeb touting its 10,000+ listings because we will only list quality*, useful*, computer friendly*, and spyware free* software.

* While SplashWeb makes every attempt to review each product to make sure each product is quality, useful, computer friendly, and spyware free, mistakes can happen. It is your responsibility to use a virus scanner at all times when downloading anything from anywhere on the internet. History:

SplashWeb.com, when it was registered in 1998, was a joint project between two friends. At the time, the vision was to have the best collectibles site on the web.

Having limited resources, the project was ended in 2001 and never resurfaced until the relaunch of SplashWeb in 2004 when Buehlerfam Creations, Inc. purchased all interests in the project.

Right after purchasing all interests in SplashWeb.com, work was immediately started to realize our dream of the perfect shareware web site.
